Rising Athletes: Celebrating the Players Shaping the Game

At C2C, we do more than jerseys. We back strong community connection.

Every club has those players - the ones who arrive early, stay back, put in the work and keep turning up week after week. They may not always be the ones scoring the most points or getting the attention, but they’re always working to get better. Their progress is built through countless hours of training, small improvements and the decision to keep going, even when no one is watching. It’s the effort behind the scenes that often makes the biggest difference.

Rising Athletes is our way of changing that.

Through this campaign, we're putting inspiring players front and centre across C2C's channels, and sharing positivity through their stories for all the players out there shaping the game, on and off the court. We celebrate them so they can go on to inspire others and shape the future of the game.

How Rising Athletes works

It's simple. Your club points us to a player or two (one male, one female) or a team. We tell their inspiring story, they get the recognition, and your club shares in it.

It could be your Finals MVP, a junior who's just cracked a rep side, or someone who's hit a milestone worth the spotlight.

Two campaign lines

The campaign runs across two looks:

Young Guns, Rising — for rising male and boys athletes, can be a team.
The Game Is Hers — for rising female and girls athletes, can be a team.

Clubs can nominate a player for either line, or one for both.

What clubs need to send

For each player:

A photo or two of the player or team in their C2C kits (highest resolution you have)
Their name and position
A short story about them

You can nominate up to one male and one female player, or a team if that's easier. More than one club is welcome to take part.

Community Impact- We Share Your Story

It's easy to be part of our campaign, here is what we basically need to get your player/s featured:

A custom 1080 × 1350px social asset featuring your player's photo and your club logo
A preview before anything goes live, so nothing is posted without your sign-off
The finished post shared across C2C's channels, with your club and player credited
A copy of the asset to share on your own channels

How it works

You nominate. Send us your player(s) with their photos, name, position and short story.
We design. Our team builds the social asset on the campaign template.
You preview. We send it to you to check before it goes anywhere.
We publish. Once you're happy, it goes live across C2C's channels, tagging your club and player.
You share. We send you the asset to repost on your own channels.
